What is approved members quantity in Notes & Docs
In Notes & Docs for Trello, the subscription fee calculation is based on the number of Trello members. The initial subscription fee is determined based on the number of members present at the time of subscription.
If the number of members changes during the subscription (either new members are added to a board under the account or members are removed), this change will be reflected in the subscription fee. Basically, if the number of members under the account decreases, the subscription fee will also decrease, and if the number of members increases, the subscription fee will increase accordingly.
To allow the Notes & Docs account owner to monitor and control the growth of the subscription fee, we have introduced an approval process for increases in subscription fees.
Upon subscribing, an "approved member quantity" is determined based on the current number of billable Trello members. This "approved member quantity" is the member count calculated at the time of subscription.
Below this "approved member quantity," the subscription fee will follow any changes in the member count. However, if the current number of billable Trello members exceeds this "approved member quantity," the subscription fee will not automatically increase until the Notes & Docs account owner approves this increase.
The purpose of this approval process is to avoid unexpected increases in subscription fees and to provide the account owner with the opportunity for the most appropriate intervention, such as revising and rationalizing the billable member quantity, instead of approving an increase in the subscription fee.
